Yea - Dillan is really great at using his sign language to tell us what he needs.
Boo - He tells us very urgently that he needs a drink after every bite during meal, increasing meal time by at least 20 minutes.
Yea - Luke got to mountain biking with the dogs and Mike today!
Boo - They all came home covered in ticks.
Yea - Got all new towels this week!
Boo - a few of them have already bleached out after just one wash.
Yea - New living room furniture.

Dillan Turns One!
Sorry - its been a super long time such we published anything on this blog. Yesterday was Big D's 1st birthday. We were blessed to have Luke's parents, my mom, Jamie, Grandma Spence, my cousin Brian, Joneses, Vicki, Jenny and of course, Jake the dog, here to share it with us. We had so much fun! Blue cake, burritos, balloons, balls - the letter of the day was B. We also had face painting and lots of new toys to play with.
It blows my mind that our little man is a year old. He is walking like a champ - practically running. Mimics every sound we make (his pig sounds are about the cutest thing ever!) and just started to do baby sign language. I'm really excited about this latest development as Luke and I have worked consistently for the last 8 months to teach him a few simple signs. He now lets us know when he's hungry, thirsty, wants more, is done or needs some milk. Its amazing!
Oh yeah, Luke and I had birthdays this week too and that was cool. But can you believe Dillan is ONE!!!!
