we've made it to the beginning of the second trimester. Depending on how you do the math, anywhere from today to Sunday is the first day of the second trimester. Nomi feels great, I feel great and Luke feels great.
We have been busy. Some really great people have lent me 3 huge bags of maternity clothes - very awesome.
Nomi is almost 6 cm big and weighs about half and ounce. He/she has grown fingernails, a bladder and if Nomi turns out to be a He, he just started producing testosterone.
Pictures to come soon - the belly bump hsn't changed much in the last few weeks.

Quick update
new pictures of the baby bump are up now. sorry we missed a week, but i think we are going to start putting up pictures every other week now.
you can see how much nomi is growing. i'm very clearly pregnant and very much unable to suck in my stomach anymore.
all are doing well. i'm very hormonal, which isn't fun for anyone, least of all Luke. We are in need of prayer for patience and grace in our home right now.
This is week 9 or days 51-57 since conception. Nomi will grow a total of 10mm this week. Roughly from 20mm to 30mm (or 3 cm). Slightly longer then the top part of your thumb, its amazing to think that all of the organs, muscles and external structures are already present, although we'll take the next 8 months or so to refine them.
In other exciting news, Nomi has fully transitioned from sea-horse looking to alien looking and by the end of the week will very clearly look like a human.
have a great week.
